This webinar presents the lessons learned from a year-long learning community of state mental health departments, System of Care grantees, and provider organizations in their efforts to implement the National Cultural and Linguistically Appropriate Standards (CLAS) in their communities.  It will provide an overview of the National CLAS Standards and the relevance to behavioral health. It will focus on a description of specific action steps taken by the participants and an overview of some of the factors that facilitated implementation, factors that were barriers to implementation and some of the strategies used to address them. Presenters will be the facilitators of the learning community and representatives from one of the states that participated in this learning community.
