Presenter: University of PPAL. The Parent/Professional Advocacy League (PPAL) is a statewide family-run organization dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of children, youth and families through education, advocacy and partnership

Description: Participants will explore: 

  • the history and principles of Family Engagement
  • the difference between Family-Centered and Family-Driven 
  • the barriers to family involvement and how to eliminate them
  •  
  • the critical elements of Family Engagement, Involvement and Partnership, including strategies for engaging with high-need families

Professionals will receive practical tools and strategies which they can implement in their organizations.

Lunch will be served.  Early registration is recommended as class size is limited!
