How much do you know about suicide and its effects on youth in our state?

  • This is an online event

Presenter: Kelley Cunningham is the Assistant Director for the Suicide Prevention Program at the MA Department of Public Health (MDPH)

During the month of September we recognize Suicide Prevention Awareness. In Massachusetts approximately 75 young people under the age of 24 die by suicide each year. Please join the Children's Behavioral Health Knowledge Center and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for a webinar on what you can do to help a youth who may be suicidal. The webinar offers a brief overview of what to look out for and will review a number of resources available in our state to help young people who may be thinking of suicide.
