This three-day training is designed for young adults who are currently working as Young Adult Peer Mentors and/or Therapeutic Mentors who have their own lived experience of mental health, substance use and/or trauma challenges
and who want to learn how to share that experience with purpose and intent to support the lives of the young adults they serve.
In addition to being present and engaged during the training, participants will be asked to complete a self-reflection tool during each individual day of training.
The self-reflection tool is based on the six core elements of the Young Adult Peer Mentoring Practice Profile.
*Accommodations provided upon request with at least 2 weeks notice.
