DescriptionPeer Support Workers (PSW’s) are a growing workforce in child/adolescent and adult-serving settings such as mental health, child welfare, residential & community-based settings.  (Titles may often vary and can include but are not limited to: Certified Peer Specialists, Mental Health Recovery Coach, Peer Mentor, Peer Specialists etc.).  As this workforce increases, so does the need to understand the unique supports and supervision specific to Peer Support Workers.  Participants will learn the benefits of employing peer support workers, and best practices on how to support and supervise peer support worker roles.
